Description
- Oversee and manage financial processes and reporting
- Production of the Statutory Accounts.
- Oversee the completion of monthly balance sheet reconciliations including all bank accounts and control accounts
- Manage the revaluation of a multi-currency environment.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Provide financial advice and recommendations to senior management
- Lead and manage finance team members
- Coordinate audit processes
- Review and implement financial policies
- Management of the anti-terrorist finance review system (FinScan)
- Work with People & Culture when required to assist with payroll queries.
Profile
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- Actively studying towards a professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
- Previous experience in a similar role within the not-for-profit sector
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Proficiency in accounting software
