Our client is a highly successful, global automotive manufacturer. Due to a forthcoming maternity leave, they are looking to recruit a suitably experienced accounts professional, on a 12-month, fixed-term basis to cover.
Key Job Responsibilities: - Monthly intercompany account reconciliations.
- Liaising with the shared service centre on posting of intercompany and month end reconciliations.
- Manage the transition of intercompany month end recs.
- Responsible for quarterly/monthly finance adjustments to stock and stock reconciliations.
- Liaising with counterparts in different locations across the world.
- Booking management allocations/rebill and responsibility for reporting/accuracy of postings.
- Working closely with the AP Manager to ensure timely resolution and payment of IC balances.
- Support the UK business leads on resolving intercompany invoice disputes.
- Create efficiencies in the intercompany process.
- Accountable for the intercompany reporting in the group system.
- Responsible for raising manual intercompany recharges between entities.
Key Skills & Experience Required: - Previous experience of intercompany accounting processes.
- Working in multinational organisation with many counter parts (desirable).
- Good overall IT skills (MS Excel in particular).
- Experience of month end process.
- Organised with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
- Curious and enquiring mind.
- Able to communicate effectively across business departments and levels.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to deliver results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
